Dhaka update 1
Hi!
I'm finally here!!! In Dhaka, baby!!!
the SAESM is a go ppl!! We are 8 students of LUMS; and two instuctors, Turab and Mehreen!
Ohh gawd... took 17 hours to get here from Lahore!! shiesh!!!
hehe the start it self wasnt the brightest. Our plane got delayed by more than 2 hours...and our airline: Aero Asia; "the best private airline of Pakistan", atleast according to itself... :P
our russian aircraft rocketed and riveted (!!!) to KArachi, and it was conforting to know the aircraft number was :
"UR-CCK"!!!!!
no kidding!

Then..... our flight to Dhaka got delayed by 4-5 hours!! Biman Airlines.... we lost the kick in its' name long ago.... :)
so the few hours we got, we dashed into Karachi! "Dashed!" isnt a word that describes it, as most of our time was spent on the roads; i feel so good to live in Lahore now!!
So anyway.... the squeezed ppl went around and around, with a heavy suit-case on my crouch, and we had some good food :).... and ditched the SZABISTies like that.. sorry guys, i still love you, on some level!!!
anyways..... the dhaka flight was good and bad, and ugly.. tired and exhasuted, we could nt sleep... becuase of either the seats, or the lamb curry, or the fact that Mr. and Mrs. Smith was the in-flight movie... Anyway.. with my Sick bag as souvenier, as well as the airline cabbin tags..... (Note to anyone who aspects suovineers!) ..........................We reached Dhaka!!!
First impressions: very friendly
they seem to idolise Afridi and Wasim Akram... and i do tend to agree with their opinions... even though i only watch pakistan matches when they ar winning, or playin the world cup.... so i know jack shit about cricket.... hehehe!!
anyhow.... i will try to contact the LCP of AIUP.... and see if i meet Aiesec in Bangladesh!! yipee!!
btw our rooms are huge... with AC, with TVs!!!!! i love it... sharam karo apnay OCs!
and what else?! hmmmmm.......
yeah! apparently, It's only a day, and I have already been branded as paagal.... :D now that is what I mean by "striving for excllence!" hehehe
